1 Step Beyond

1 STEP BEYOND is a new project that aims to showcase, what is considered by many, one of the most identifiable “scenes” in the international graffiti scene. Although more recent than in other European cities such as London, Amsterdam, Paris, etc., the Roman school has always had its own well-defined imprint that has struck the interest of so many writers from all over the world. Many are the names of foreigners who over the years have approached this city, leaving through their “pieces” a bit of their knowledge that over time has helped to refine and enrich a style that today is unique in its particular conception. In these pages are collected the writers, who in our opinion, have influenced and still carry on the style of this reality, trying to identify even among the new generations the people who continue this tradition.
